For the Budweiser sponsorship of the 2013 Federations Cup, held in Brazil in June, FullSIX were asked to design and develop the Man of the Match campaign. Budweiser and FIFA were offering supporters, for the very first time, the chance to select the man of the match themselves. With the most popular ‘voted’ player of the match awarded the Budweiser MOTM trophy after the game.
FullSIX developed a mobile app empowering supporters to select their favourite player during the live game. The app also allowed you to view previously awarded players, it counted down to the next match and showed the full timetable of games during the tournament. Supporters could also engage with Man of the Match through a Facebook page and the Budweiser website.
