British Gas has been a long-standing sponsor of British Swimming, and wanting to improve the brand’s ‘warmth’ with customers they decided to launch the SwimBritain event series over a 5-year period aimed at getting Britain swimming more.

Swimmers love to swim but often need a little extra motivation to get going so Grand Union were tasked with creating a website that extended SwimBritain’s proposition (to get Britain swimming more) and that supported participant’s registration and preparation for the events. The website included unique features such as multiple-event registration, info and videos to support training and a training log to track swimmer’s progress which were all successfully adopted by a number of participants.
