In 2010, FullSIX began working with the AB InBev Global Connections team in Leuven to create and launch the first global program for digital excellence within AB InBev – better known as the Digital Leadership Program. The program consisted of four parts centred on the Digital Leadership Hub and included: a central resource for case studies, frameworks, best practice and guidelines and was supported by the Digital Leadership Awards.
These awards were created to ensure AB InBev are not only ‘doing’ but ‘being’ digital and they celebrated campaigns and creativity across all AB InBev brands and markets. Grand Union’s role was to define the award categories and judging criteria as well as to design and produce all award collateral. The program launched at AB InBev’s HQ in St Louis in 2011 is now being rolled out across all key global markets.
Every year AB InBev holds the Global Connections Conference which seeks to engage, inform, enthuse, inspire, challenge, stimulate & celebrate the success of AB InBev brands around the world. Grand Union has been involved in these conferences since 2011 and in May this year (2013) we developed the agenda and presentations working with AB InBev’s global partner agencies to develop channel-specific training materials.
The conference was attended by 50 of AB InBev’s most senior marketing VPs and Brand Managers who were introduced to the digital 3 year plan and the need to move to a programme of content excellent.
